We're pleased to announce that all 2,486 images from the 2010 Trek Across Maine are now online. You can jump right in and take a look around by visiting the image archive HERE.
Remember, you should use the following keywords to refine your search to only images from the 2010 Trek: "2010" and "Trek"
You can refine your search further by searching for your bib number, or using the keyword "unidentified" to show only images in which bib numbers were not clearly legible/visible.

Image highlights – Day 3
We arrived in Belfast on Sunday, physically drained, but completely psyched to watch the hundreds of participants of the 2010 Trek Across Maine roll into town.
Congratulations to everyone who rode, volunteered, and sponsored--and a big shout out to the staff at the American Lung Association.
Above, a couple selections from day three -- from volunteers in Waterville, to teams on the road, to some big smiles and bigger hugs at the finish line.
Image highlights – Day 2
After some excellent food, some evening fun c/o the Gym Dandies and a good night's rest (thank you UMF), we were ready for a big second day. Above, a few frames from day two -- some gorgeous morning light, some wonderful volunteers, team pictue time, and bikes bikes and more bikes!
Image highlights – Day 1
After last year's downpour, Adam and I were super stoked to be blessed with gorgeous--albeit warm--weather for this year's Trek. The sunshine made for excellent picture-taking conditions.
As we sift through the thousands of images from the weekend, i will be updating this blog with photos highlighting the multiple days of cycling. Above is a small batch from Day 1, beginning with some Sunday River images, a bit of fun with a garden hose, and a long view of the camping at Farmington.
A look back at 2009
The forecast for this year's TREK looks good, but before we get ahead of ourselves, a quick look back at last year and what is--I can only hope--waaay more rain than we'll see in the next two years combined.
New Trek Images Site
This year will be my fourth year working with the phenomenal staff, amazing volunteers and tremendous participants at the American Lung Association's Trek Across Maine.
With the 2010 Trek less than a month and a half away, I am excitedly looking ahead to what will surely be an amazing three days of cycling and camaraderie. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting some new ones.
Some news from me -- the Trek images now have their own url. You will find the image galleries from 2007, 2008 and 2009 at www.trekimages.com
New Blog
Welcome to the new Trek Images blog.
First, a bit of background. If you've stumbled across this blog, you've probably done, or are thinking of doing, the Trek Across Maine.
The Trek is, in short:
- a 3-day bike ride from the mountains to the sea in picturesque Maine
- for a great cause (it is a fundraiser of the American Lung Association)
- a truly amazing experience
But don't take my word for it, check out the ALA Web site... here... CLICK ME.
